• Help support the Lutheran Malawi Mission Fund by registering your Food Lion MVP card. Food Lion will contribute a portion of your total grocery purchase to the fund each time you use your card. To sign up:
  1. Open Internet Explorer. The registration page will not work with Netscape, Firefox, Safari, or any browser software other than Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to the Shop and Share Page (http://www.foodlion.com/IntheCommunity/ShopandShare/)
  3. Click "Register MVP Cards"
  4. Click "Select Organization". A pop-up window titled "Find Your Organization" will appear. If you do not see this window, be sure to read the notes below the "Select Organization" button.
  5. Choose "VA" from "Select State", then "Roanoke" from "Select City", and finally "ST. PHILIP LUTHERAN MALAWI MISSION FUND" from "Select Organization". There will be a brief delay after you select the state and city as more information is loaded.
  6. Click "OK" on the "Find Your Organization" pop-up window. The pop-up window will close and you can go back to the "Register MVP Cards" window.
  7. Click "Add MVP Cards". You will be transferred to a page titled "Register Multiple MVP Cards"
  8. Enter the number from the back of your card, along with the other requested information. As shown on the picture on this page, there are twelve digits, including one at the start and the end that are outside of the barcode. Also, note that your phone number should not have spaces or dashes in it, as the form will only allow you to enter ten phone number digits.
  9. Click "Next", then "Finished" or "Add Another" (if you have more than one card)
